The most notorious non-free festival-gig of the Stones was probably Knebworth on August 21, 1976. Between Glastonbury and Hyde Park-gigs I wanted to point out again that there's an interesting Knebworth76-memorabilia-set available. Check the link below for list of contents (in August the set will additionally contain a t-shirt). The music and film-footage has the same quality like the many circulating bootlegs, but the other memorabilia is unique and nice. Available here.

Andrew Oldham did his first Rolling Stones Songbook in 1966 and it sold quite well. Fans always puzzled if members of the Stones played on one or the other track. Later The Verve famously sampled a part of The Last Time for their big hit Bitter Sweet Symphony. Now Oldham saucily covers The Verve's track (apart from 11 Stones-songs)! But this time I wouldn't expect Stones-members being among the "Friends". Available here .

CD by The Andrew Oldham Orchestra And Friends 'Play The Rolling Stones Songbook Vol. 2' (Gold Lake Records GLAO03262013).

05/05/13:
